Christoph Gehbauer

Christoph is a visiting researcher in the Energy Storage and Distributed Resources Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research focuses on modeling and optimizing the distribution of energy resources and renewable energy systems.

He works as part of the development team of the Distributed Energy Resources Customer Adoption Model. This work would contribute to his master thesis at his home university in Vienna, Austria. His major is focused on “renewable urban energy systems”.

Christoph also had previous work experience in several companies, the latest one being a power supplier in Austria, where he managed the implementation of biomass powered district heating systems (300kW-25MW).
