Elias Hartvigsson is a PhD student in Energy and Environment at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. He holds a B.Sc in Applied Physics and a M.Sc in Industrial Ecology, both from Chalmers University of Technology. His research focuses on feedback in social, technical and economical systems found in minigridsystem in developing countries using methods from systems thinking.
At Lawrence Berkeley Lab he worked on incorporating feedback between DER-CAM and a previously developed system dynamics model. The work specifically focused on feedbacks between capacity expansion choices, minigrid utility economic performance and local socioeconomical indicators.
