Jonas Tjäder was a visiting researcher in the Energy Storage and Distributed Resources Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research focused on modelling and optimization of distributed energy resources and renewable energy systems.
Jonas worked as part of the development team of the Distributed Energy Resources Customer Adoption Model. He studied, among other topics, how forecasted technology changes will affect the optimal system sizing and scheduling of distributed energy resources.
Jonas has a M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering – Energy systems and Environmental Technologies from Linköping University in Sweden and has studied abroad for 3 semesters at KAIST and Kyung Hee University in South Korea.
