The Grid Integration Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) has received funding from the Microgrid R&D program within the DOE Office of Electricity and Energy Reliability for a project to install and use micro-Phasor Measurement Units (micro-PMUs) for advanced sensors integration and data analytics at the Philadelphia Navy Yard microgrid.

This project is an important opportunity for LBNL and DOE to demonstrate advanced analytics and algorithms utilizing micro-PMUs within a true microgrid environment.
